We are currently recruiting for a permanent Deputy Nurse Manager in the Newcastle area to work within a service that provides care and support to adults with complex needs and learning difficulties.
As the Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the management and ensuring that the home operates successfully ensuring the best possible care is provided. You will have a "hands on approach", to apply the highest standards of practice, to ensure all needs of the Residents are individually catered for.
Work with the Nursing and Care Team to apply high standards of practice
Ensure all needs of the residents are individually catered for
Ensure all units are staffed, monitor rotas
Ensure the home complied with all CWC requirements
Induct and support new staff members
Experience as Deputy Manager or Nurse Leader
Qualified Nurse with a NMC Pin
Ideally Level 4 or above in Health and Social Care
Able to lead and motivate a team with proven success
Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
Able to problem solve and react quickly to situations
Professional, friendly and able to build relationships
